Virginia Farm Bureau Governmental Relations: Richmond, Virginia; Farm Bureau's producer membership governs the organization, and its members determine where we stand on specific issues. A policy development process that begins at the grassroots encourages members to discuss issues annually within their local membership and work toward a consensus at the state level regarding Farm Bureau's position. The policies represented by the Virginia Farm Bureau Governmental Relations team are tested by the grassroots process and have the support of the Farm Bureau membership.

Blog policy for submitting comments

The purpose of this blog is for Farm Bureau producer members to post and discuss legislative news and the grassroots activities of the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation We encourage comments, questions and idea-sharing.

We want to publish your comments, but we expect conversations to follow the conventions of polite discourse. Therefore, we won’t post comments that:

• contain vulgar language, personal attacks of any kind, or offensive terms that target specific ethnic or racial groups

• promote services or products (non-commercial links that are relevant to the blog post or comment are acceptable)

• are far off-topic

• make unsupported accusations.

We don’t edit comments to remove objectionable content, so please ensure that your comment contains none of the above.

Reporters are asked to send questions to the Virginia Farm Bureau through their normal channels and to refrain from submitting questions here as comments. Reporter questions will not be posted.

We recognize that the Web is a 24/7 medium and your comments are welcome at any time.
